白化品系的科研优势Why the albino line?

野生型非洲爪蟾皮肤含大量黑色素,在荧光显微镜下会产生强烈的自发荧光背景,对 GFP、mCherry 等荧光报告基因的观察造成干扰。白化品系因缺乏酪氨酸酶功能而不能合成黑色素,整体体色浅淡或接近白色:Wild-type Xenopus laevis skin contains abundant melanin, generating strong autofluorescence background that interferes with GFP, mCherry and other fluorescent reporter observations. The albino strain lacks functional tyrosinase and cannot synthesise melanin, resulting in pale or near-white colouration:
